Shutters
Our shutters are made from two types of product: Basswood and Composite MDF.
Both are available with either a 2" or 3" outside mount frame that gives your windows the look of a crown moulding trim or a Z frame that hugs your
walls with an unobtrusive look. 2 1/2", 3 1/2" or 4 1/2" louvers are
available for all shutters.
Basswood is North American hardwood and is praised for its resilience to
warping and its uniformity of grain. It is perfect for use in Arizona.
Although a smooth finish is the standard, a sandblast finish is also
available. A large variety of stains and whites will assure you of finding
that perfect color for your home.
Our Composite shutters are finished with a polypropylene wrap that stands up
to the rigors of family life, yet look just like basswood shutters at a
fraction of the cost. They are a smooth finish and are available in white,
pearl, or alabaster.
Delivery time ranges from a few days for Composite shutters in a standard
size with standard features (outside mount with a 2" or 3" deco frame and 3 ½ " louvers) in a white or pearl to 6 weeks for very large or unusual
windows or non-standard features. Shutters for arcadia and French doors are
also available.
Our shutters are warrantied against fading, warping, chipping, cracking, peeling, and yellowing. They are built with exceptional craftsmanship and can provide long-term value and help increase your home’s appreciation.
Arches
The term "arch" is used for a variety of shapes: arches, rectangles, trapezoid, octagon, etc. Most shapes can be accommodated with your choice of material: Basswood stationary arches with non-movable louvers to mount above your wood blinds. These arches are outside mounted and are painted or stained to match your wood blinds.
- Basswood stationary arches with movable louvers and arches that pop-out for cleaning with movable louvers that mount over your shutters. These arches will be outside or inside mounted to match the shutters below or can be mounted as an individual arch.
- Honeycomb or cellular material as an inside mount above a blind or individual arch.
